Lecture “AI and Blockchain Solutions: Regulatory Risks and Opportunities in the EU”

On 14 April 2026, 17:00–18:00, an online lecture, “AI and Blockchain Solutions: Regulatory Risks and Opportunities in the EU,” was held as the second lecture in the course “Legal Aspects of Deep Tech Projects,” delivered with WIN2EDIH support and designed to provide legal support for startups and small and medium-sized businesses at various stages of growth.

The lecture was aimed at startup teams and SMEs developing innovative products for the European market. Participants explored which AI- and blockchain-based products fall under EU regulation and what counts as “high-risk” under EU law, and discussed the legal and ethical risks facing startups.

  • Legal and ethical risks for startups;
  • Documenting algorithms, data, and decisions for compliance;
  • How regulatory requirements affect partnerships, licensing, and business models.
