The YEP Accelerator is an ecosystem of innovative entrepreneurship that supports early-stage startups and promotes entrepreneurial education at 100+ universities.
The YEP Accelerator is responsible for the hub’s communication, making information about Win-Win EDIH opportunities available and understandable to businesses, startups, and the public sector. We develop clients’ entrepreneurial skills through trainings and workshops, as well as create practical opportunities through educational Bootcamps and meetings with successful company founders. With its experience in supporting early-stage startups and developing innovative education, YEP helps WIN2EDIH clients adapt to digital change and find new ways to grow.
Ukrainian Startup Fund is a government institution that helps innovative projects and tech startups raise funds at the early stages and launch their own projects. The Fund is a driver of the startup ecosystem, provides conditions for the growth of the sector, creates a positive investment image of the Ukrainian tech industry abroad, and represents Ukrainian innovative solutions around the world.
The Ukrainian Startup Fund under WIN2EDIH focuses on selecting promising deep tech projects, organizing specialized ecosystem events such as hackathons, bootcamps, and trainings, as well as creating conditions for the development of the innovation ecosystem. Expert support also involves engaging small and medium-sized businesses, startups, and other entities through technology validation, training on digital solutions, legal aspects, and investment attraction. A special emphasis is placed on holding demo days aimed at target audience matchmaking with investors, stakeholders, and industry leaders, as well as developing networking activities.
Within the framework of WIN2EDIH, Chernihiv Polytechnic National University is responsible for the implementation of Work Package 3 “Competence and Skills Development” aimed at developing digital knowledge of small and medium-sized enterprises, startups and the public sector through group trainings, mentoring, Deep Tech training and online incubation courses. Chernihiv Polytechnic coordinates events to raise awareness of modern digital trends, technologies and their impact on such industries as smart mobility, manufacturing, education, energy, healthcare, and smart homes/cities. Special attention is paid to improving digital skills in business: hard skills (data analysis, programming, prototyping, etc.) and soft skills (leadership, team management, Agile). The university also focuses on organizing training and consulting on the development of digital and green transformation projects, new business models, digitalization of energy systems, energy efficiency, and information modeling.
The KNEU performs the role of the WIN2EDIH coordinator and is engaged in the implementation of tasks related to project management, monitoring of compliance by consortium members with their obligations, compliance checks and reporting, preparation and chairing of meetings, keeping minutes of meetings and monitoring their implementation, administration of the financial contribution and fulfillment of financial tasks. In addition, KNEU’s activities include tests before investment of innovative projects, verification of their market attractiveness, development of competencies and skills (training in artificial intelligence, data analysis and digital transformation to increase the competitiveness of SMEs), administration of the Innovation Ukraine digital platform and its improvement using the potential of AI, development of the innovation ecosystem of the city of Kyiv region and consulting on finding funding, popularization of project results and informing the public about the project.
Zhytomyr Polytechnic is a regional leader with robotics, IoT, and cybersecurity laboratories that supports the startup ecosystem through accelerators and modern infrastructure.
Zhytomyr Polytechnic acts as a key center of technological innovation in WIN2EDIH, combining academic expertise, research potential, and business approach. We not only support digital transformation, but also help enterprises, startups, and the public sector to adapt the latest technologies in their processes. In particular, we conduct digital maturity assessments, formulate an improvement roadmap, and support its implementation; technical and business validation of projects – we help startups and companies test their innovations, determine the market attractiveness and scalability of technological solutions; prototyping and 3D printing – we develop physical and digital prototypes and help launch pilot projects – we help integrate the latest technologies into real business and government processes, facilitating their digital transformation.
