In 2025, the network of European Digital Innovation Hubs began operating in Ukraine. Each hub has its own profile, team, and focus on specific regions or sectors. Win-Win EDIH is one of them. We work to make digital transformation of business, universities, and the public sector happen through real, practical solutions.
Win-Win EDIH concentrates its activity on the Kyiv, Zhytomyr, and Chernihiv regions. Our team brings together experts from universities, the startup ecosystem, and the public sector. We focus on working with small and medium enterprises, startups, and public institutions, as well as on developing digital skills — because today these are the foundation of resilience.
What’s Behind the Hub’s Creation
Win-Win EDIH was created in response to a need: how can Ukrainian organizations, regardless of size, gain access to practical services that help them adapt to the new digital reality. In many regions, it is local businesses and universities that became points of growth after 2022. But even the most proactive teams often lacked the tools to assess their own state, build competencies, or find international partnerships.
That’s why the hub is not just consultations or training. It is a support infrastructure that helps teams get their bearings, choose a direction, test a hypothesis, or prepare for the next step — and, importantly, do it quickly, clearly, and with context in mind.
Who We Are
The Win-Win EDIH consortium brings together six organizations combining expertise in technology, entrepreneurship, education, and public administration. The academic partners are Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman, State University “Zhytomyr Polytechnic,” and National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic.” The startup ecosystem is represented by the Ukrainian Startup Fund, YEP Accelerator, and Vacuum Deep Tech Acceleration. This partnership allows the hub not only to provide technology services but also to support teams in business modeling, fundraising, and scaling.
How We Work With Teams
It all starts with a conversation and a digital maturity assessment, then moves into whichever format suits the specific organization best — a bootcamp, individual consultations, or testing new technologies. It all depends on the request and the team’s readiness to act.
For SMEs, this is mostly about digitizing business processes, finding financing, and gaining access to international expertise. For startups, it’s about support with prototyping and piloting. For the public sector, it’s about systematizing data, integrating AI tools, and strengthening cybersecurity.
We also work with universities, helping researchers develop their work and connect with the European network.
What’s Already Been Done
In its first six months, Win-Win EDIH launched more than 15 services — from test-before-invest to educational programs and grant consultations. More than 500 representatives of business, startups, universities, and government structures took part in the hub’s events. The first clients have already gone through a digital maturity assessment, joined training, and received individual support.
International partnerships are a separate track. We are developing cooperation with hubs in Poland, Latvia, Spain, Finland, Austria, and others. These partnerships open access to joint events, expertise, and programs for Ukrainian teams — building a bridge between local initiatives and the European digital ecosystem.
