National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic” organized an interactive event in the village of Rudkivka, Chernihiv region, as part of the international WIN2EDIH project. The event involved delivering high-tech equipment and a mobile laboratory via the specialized TOLOCAR vehicle. Rudkivka was chosen for its active work with STEAM technologies: the village runs a successful robotics club, and local teachers actively support students’ technical creativity.
At the additive manufacturing station, participants tested Prusa Mini+, Bambu Lab A1 mini, and FLSUN Super Racer 3D printers, each with different kinematics. At the laser processing station, they worked with the portable Fabulaser Mini cutter, learning the principles of vector modeling, cutting, and engraving. At the VR station, participants explored immersive tools and viewed a 3D-scanned building.
Organizers emphasized the importance of synergy between the university’s academic community and the public sector in the region’s digital transformation. The project received funding from the European Union’s Digital Europe Programme.
