Startup School “Startup – Way to Success-2025”: Results

On 24 June 2025, National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic” completed a 10-week startup school, “Startup – Way to Success-2025,” held as part of the WIN2EDIH project. More than 30 participants completed the intensive training course for future innovators and entrepreneurs.

The programme ran in two phases: the first two weeks covered interactive sessions on problem identification, idea testing, value proposition design, customer segmentation, business model development, teamwork, and presentation skills; from May to June, participants received mentorship on startup launch strategies, digital tools, and the startup lifecycle.

Participants presented their ideas in a small-group pitch session. Mentors and organizers included Chernihiv Polytechnic faculty, startup founders, business representatives, civil society representatives, and members of the IT cluster; the programme was coordinated by Kateryna Hnedina, PhD, Associate Professor of Economics.

“A space where the synergy of creativity, determination, and professional support opens the path to innovative solutions,” is how participants described the school’s atmosphere.
