On 9–10 June 2026, Brussels hosted EDIH Summit 2026: Strengthening the AI Innovation Ecosystem — the annual gathering of Europe’s network of Digital Innovation Hubs, attended by the WIN-WIN EDIH team.
Two days of intensive work centered on one key question: is Europe’s AI ecosystem actually delivering in practice, and how can it be made more effective for business and the public sector? This year’s Summit brought together around 600 participants on-site and more than 1,000 online, and served as a platform for hundreds of meetings and new partnerships through dedicated matchmaking sessions.
Key outcomes from the WIN-WIN EDIH team’s participation include:
— a meeting with the GIZ appraisal mission in Brussels, discussing the needs of Ukrainian EDIHs and support opportunities under the next cycle of the GIZ DT4SME programme;
— meetings with hub partners, including AIRE EDIH, Nemonoor, and Robocoast, to plan next steps in cooperation;
— new connections with European hubs and active participation in workshops and training sessions;
— discussions on cooperation between hubs in associated countries.
The Summit proved to be a highly practical platform where strategic conversations quickly turned into concrete actions and partnerships. The WIN-WIN EDIH team thanks the organizers and all partners for their openness, dialogue, and commitment to building a shared European AI ecosystem.
