On 3 June 2026, representatives of Chernihiv Polytechnic visited the 3D Makers Zone innovation centre in Haarlem, the Netherlands, which operates under the European Digital Innovation Hub EDIH Northwest Netherlands. The university was represented by Vice-Rector for Research Anatolii Prystupa and Professor Nataliia Kholiavko.

EDIH Northwest focuses on four economic sectors: smart industry, smart urban health, smart agriculture, and smart media. Discussions covered support for business digital transformation, innovation ecosystem development, strengthening digital competencies, technology-testing environments, and mechanisms for international cooperation.

Dutch partners noted Ukraine’s distinctive approach to using innovation as “a mechanism uniting people, organizations, and entire ecosystems during wartime.” The universities presented the WIN2EDIH project and discussed prospects for continued cooperation within the European network of Digital Innovation Hubs, with an emphasis on knowledge exchange and sharing best practices.
