On 26 May 2026, WIN2EDIH project representatives took part in the international scientific-practical conference “Ukrainian Education in Times of War and Postwar Recovery.” The event brought together leading academics, educators, education administrators, and international partners to discuss the transformation of Ukrainian education amid global change and the country’s course toward European integration.
At the panel on the European integration of higher education, a presentation by KNEU Vice-Rector Larysa Antoniuk on the role of universities’ grant activity drew particular attention. She emphasized the importance of European Digital Innovation Hubs in advancing the digital transformation of education and engaging students in practical projects, and stressed the need to genuinely integrate students into research projects from their first year, giving them the role of junior research colleagues.
The conference served as a platform for shaping a shared vision of Ukraine’s future as a knowledge- and innovation-based education system.
