Panel Discussion: Chernihiv Polytechnic’s International Projects and Their Impact on the City, Region, and Country

On 21 May 2025, as part of Science Week 2025 marking the university’s 65th anniversary, National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic” held a panel discussion titled “Chernihiv Polytechnic’s International Projects: Impact on the City, Region, and Country.” Participants included project coordinators, community representatives, business leaders, government officials, academics, and other stakeholders.

The gathering discussed how the university’s international initiatives “contribute to strengthening community potential and creating new educational, economic, and social opportunities.” Eleven projects were presented in total, including SMARTGYsum (green energy systems), WIN2EDIH (a European Digital Innovation Hub), PROMENT (mentoring and tutoring systems), DIGITRANS (digital transformation in education), TURBO (university resilience during crises), SUSTED (education for sustainable development), UNICITIES (climate-neutral cities), BRIDGE (university–industry collaboration for green jobs), DEFEP (distance-education best practices), and AIFEU (artificial intelligence in financial institutions).

The event served as a platform for professional dialogue, strengthening partnerships, and shaping a strategic vision for regional development within a European context.
