EDIH Summit and EU Industry Days 2025: WIN2EDIH in Rzeszów

On 5–6 June 2025, Rzeszów, Poland, hosted two major conferences on Europe’s digital and industrial future — the EDIH Summit and EU Industry Days 2025. The WIN2EDIH team was represented by Tetiana Chernytska, Professor of International Economics, and Yulia Hurova, Associate Professor of International Economics at Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman.

As of 1 January 2025, the EDIH network had grown by 18 new hubs from Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Türkiye, and Ukraine. Summit discussions focused on strengthening coordination on digital transformation, with an emphasis on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital literacy programmes delivered through the EDIH Academy.

EU Industry Days 2025 addressed European competitiveness, decarbonisation, digitalisation, supply chain security, and the recovery of Ukraine’s industry. New initiatives included expert networking zones and startup matchmaking with budget and advisory support.

For Ukraine, the events opened up new opportunities to collaborate with European partners, expanding SME access to IT testing, AI adoption, cybersecurity, and automation — positioning the country not merely as a participant, but as a driver of a new digital Europe.
