18 Months of WIN2EDIH: From Launch to One of the Drivers of Ukraine’s Digital Transformation

In its first year and a half, Win-Win EDIH Ukraine has become a platform bringing together business, startups, the public sector, universities, and international partners around digital innovation. Over this time, the hub has helped hundreds of organizations assess their digital maturity, test new technologies, attract investment, and find new opportunities for growth.

WIN2EDIH is implemented by a consortium comprising Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman, Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University, Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, Vacuum Deep Tech Acceleration, and YEP Accelerator. Together, the consortium is building an ecosystem that helps Ukrainian business, startups, and the public sector adopt digital solutions and develop innovation.

Over the past 18 months, the hub has:

— become the #1 European Digital Innovation Hub in Ukraine, ranked among the top 45 in Europe, and become a finalist for the UN Global Compact’s Partnership for Sustainability Award 2025 in the “Economic Resilience and Growth” category;
— helped more than 450 organizations assess their digital maturity, receive digital transformation roadmaps, and test technologies under the Test Before Invest track (454 businesses underwent a digital maturity assessment (DMA), 31 organizations received individual roadmaps, and 74 services were delivered under Test Before Invest);
— run more than 120 educational events for nearly 3,000 participants, 97% of whom rated their quality and practical value highly;
— supported Ukrainian startups in attracting investment, launching international pilots, and building partnerships — notable cases include the startups Spotoria and Uniot;
— grown Innovation Ukraine, a platform bringing together digital services, opportunities, and AI tools for Ukrainian innovation: the platform has now logged more than 56,000 views, connected 386 users, and its catalogue already lists more than 140 digital services and opportunities.

Eighteen months is more than numbers. It’s hundreds of completed projects, dozens of new partnerships, and thousands of people already putting digital change into practice in their organizations.

The WIN2EDIH team thanks its consortium partners, international partners, experts, entrepreneurs, and communities who are building this story together. Ahead lies even more innovation, partnership, and digital opportunity for Ukraine.
